I initially began this blog to document a recent trip to London and Cornwall, as well as to reflect upon my disastrous trip across the pond one year ago. As a lover of process, the subject matter has sinced morphed but the mission remains the same.
I like the idea of sharing pieces in progress with folks;
and I'm using this medium as a way to try and develop some
writer-ly discipline in preparation for graduate school. It's been
years since I've been in a classroom, and sometimes I get afraid that
I've forgotten how to be in a classroom. And that I've forgotten how to write.
This blog isn't going to be polished per se. Some entries might take the form of free-writing or stream-of-consciousness. I will often edit and re-edit entries that you might long have thought "finished". I like the idea of sharing pieces-in-progress.
Hopefully you laugh.
Hopefully you aren't bored.
And...
Hopefully I discover that writing, like riding a bicycle, is never forgotten.
